Scorpion – Calgary Stampede 2010
The girl I’m riding with, Brittany, also has a channel on YouTube – www.youtube.com 3 days before this ride injured 10 teenagers (the whole green section literally flew off), here’s a rider’s eye view of this ride. @camiselena123 Yes, she does. She usually works on the largest rides in Calaway – the Dream Machine (swings), roller coaster, and such. Her name’s Brittany. Actually, she has a channel here on YouTube.

@Thumper17 Wow, i never actually thought of it really.. I always thought the ferris wheel was first in line… I’m SCARED of that thing :S… I can NOT sit through heights.. unless i’m moving at a fast speed… :S.

@eatsrandomstuff1 no kidding.. I agree. Then you hear about the ten horses dying.. It makes it even worse in my opinion…
This was my second time at the stampede.. Not the best thing to see..

Yeahh.. I was there when it happened.. to the right there was the Egyptian boat ride thing.. My little cousin and I lined up for the scorpian first.. JUST before It happened.. Then I saw the boat ride line was WAY shorter…. Very glad I changed my mind, but i’m still very upset about what happened… =[. I felt soo sick after….. That was around like 9:30 I checked my cell before I got on the Ride.. and It happened while i was on there.. =[

The stampede is so lame…As a Calgarian, I proudly ignore the stampede! All the 7 dollar beer, animal feces and human vomit on hot pavement! Bad rides that break down and injure riders too! My parents tell me that the stampede used to have strippers and freak shows, back in the 70’s. Why don’t they bring those things back???

@MattsVloggingToo Oh, and the ride was shut down after the accident btw, so it would have been impossible for me to go on after it happened anyway.

@ColaYum Ah, man, I went on way too many insane rides my body couldn’t handle that day, like the Twin Flip. I wasn’t completely back to normal after that. lol. Always ever so slightly nauseous for the rest of the day.

The Arm broke no cars flew 9 injured 1 critical who had 2 punctured lungs which god bless the healing process of the 10 injured on the green arm which I was on the same green cars on the Monday which I still can’t believe this had happened
