The list of tools that one can put to use is wide and varied, as well as constantly changing.
I want to break the software tools dedicated to SEO in to categories. Starting off, we have two categories:
1)Â Â Software Programs for internal use â meaning you buy these programs and run them on a computer or server.
2)Â Â Web sites or subscription based tools.
Now we have the two major categories, lets look a bit at the sub categories. I am not going to cover them all, as this document is considered more of a SEO primer, to get you familiar with the overall picture. In future articles, blogs, and websites I’ll go into the tools in more depth.
Here they are:
1)Â Â Search Engine Submission.
2)Â Â SEO â Analysis Tools for Link Building
3)Â Â SEO for Web Page Optimization.
4)Â Â Article Marketing and Submission
5)Â Â Auto posting to Ad and Classified Sites
6)Â Â Keyword Analysis
7)Â Â Pay Per Click Campaign Management
There are a few more out there, but they are simply variations of the above types of SEO automation.

Some of the more critical SEO tools are the ability to determine what keywords used in the search engines that the competition sites are being found under, as well as finding quality back-link partners to help you build your sites Page Rank (a Google designation for Web Site Importance).
Moving forward, some software allows a really great way to build web popularity as well as some back linking possibilities â Auto Posting and Article Marketing software.
First off â Get familiar with creating advertisements and writing good copy to properly represent your site to your readers and potential viewers. Period.
